Aussie Millions 2010
Crown’s Aussie Millions Poker Championship is the largest, richest and most prestigious gaming event in the Southern Hemisphere and is ranked fifth in the world. The Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2010 ran from 14-31 January 2010.
Begun in 1998, the championship now includes over 20 tournaments culminating in the AUD$10,000 No Limit Holdem ‘Main Event’.
Over 2500 entrants from two dozen countries participate in this international ‘festival of poker’ competing for a total prize pool of over $15 million Australian dollars.
The Aussie millions is a favourite among the world’s top players. Regulars include Gus Hansen, local hero Joe Hachem, Chris Ferguson, Howard lederer and of course the player widely regarded as the best in the world Phil Ivey.
