Russian Fight On Air
October 13, 2010Russian Fight, a new poker series from i2i Poker, is on air from October 2nd 2010 and is being broadcast by 7TV in Russia.
Some of the best poker players from Russia and the CIS do battle against online qualifiers for a share of $500k. All Players will compete in two rounds, those scoring the most points in the qualifying rounds join with the Full Tilt Poker Pro’s on the final table.
If a qualifying player manages to knock out a pro in one of the qualifying rounds, they win a $10,000 bounty.
The Pro’s include Nikolai Evnakov. Nikolai holds the world record for the number of cashes in a world series with 10 in 2008. He has over $770k in tournament winnings.
Full Tilt Pro Vitally Lunkin is one of Russia’s most successful players, Vitally has 2 world series of poker bracelets and over $4m in tournament winnings. Last, but certainly not least is International Poker superstar Erik Seidel, winner of 8 WSOP bracelets and over $10m in tournament prize-money.
